Course Aims
This one-day course does not train delegates to the level of technical competence required for your 'Expert' annual inspections. These must still be undertaken by a SEMA approved rack inspector (SARI) or similarly qualified person.

The purpose of this course is to instruct users in the correct method of conducting internal weekly rack inspections to ensure legal responsibility in accordance with PUWER, Health & Safety, and SEMA guidelines.

Courses can be tailored to your particular application if we have already completed a full rack inspection for you.
One of the key aims of our rack awareness course is to develop a better understanding of your storage system with a heavy emphasis on prevention rather than cure.'
We believe that it is not enough to simply see this as a damage identification exercise. The crucial element is to understand the causes and then implement change to prevent recurrence.
From experience it's often simple low cost or no cost solutions that net huge savings in terms of damage reduction and also create a safer working environment in your warehouse. If staff are properly supported to implement this programme the training will pay for itself very quickly by reducing the incidence of damage and increasing safety in the warehouse.
This course develops a better understanding of the storage system, best practices for racking safety, and how to react when problems are identified.
